You probably recognise Rob Palmer as the friendly DIY and renovating presenter on channel 7's Better Homes and Gardens and recently on Dancing with the Stars, but at the age of seven years old whilst on a family vacation, Rob was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Being diagnosed didn't slow Rob down and he continued to lead an active sporting life.

Seventeen year old track cycling sensation James Glasspool on Sunday became the fastest athlete with type one diabetes on the planet by claiming the U19 1000m Time Trial national title at the Australian Track Cycling Championships in Adelaide, South Australia.
