This notice contains instructions that are important to you:
- If you are a patient and you use Precision Link software.
- If you are a healthcare provider, and you have patients that use Precision Link software, and/or you use the software to read trends in patient data.

Important - Set and Check Time and Date settings

In order for your results to upload correctly, your meter must have the correct time and date setting when you perform any testing.

In addition, the time and date settings in your meter and in your computer must be set at the same time and date.

If the time and date setting is incorrect in your meter or your computer, the following may occur:

- Test results may upload with incorrect time and date information
- Test results may not upload

Note: An incorrect time and date setting in your meter will not affect the accuracy of your blood glucose and ketone results.

Steps to Ensure Proper Time and Date Settings

1. Prior to blood glucose or ketone testing, verify the time and date on your meter are set correctly, and
2. Prior to uploading data from your blood glucose meter, verify that the time and date are set the same on both your meter and personal computer.
